Terms of Use

UI Overpayment (uioverpayment.com) provides educational information and tools about unemployment insurance overpayments. By using this site or purchasing the Overpayment Kit, you agree to these terms.

What this site is

UI Overpayment is an independent educational resource. It is not a law firm, a government agency, or part of any state unemployment program, and nothing on this site is legal advice. Checkers, tables, templates, and worksheets are general information to help you understand your situation and prepare — they are not a substitute for advice about your specific case.

The Kit

The Overpayment Kit is a one-time purchase delivered online. It is licensed for your personal use with your own overpayment matter. Please do not redistribute, resell, or publish the kit contents.

Accuracy

State rules, deadlines, and agency procedures change, and the facts of your case control. We compile the state table from agencies' published rules and statutes and re-verify it, but we cannot guarantee that every detail applies to your notice. If your notice states a deadline, that deadline controls. Verify before acting where the stakes are high.

No affiliation

UI Overpayment is not affiliated with any state unemployment agency, the U.S. Department of Labor, or any government body.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, UI Overpayment is not liable for decisions you make or outcomes you obtain based on this site or the kit, including missed deadlines or unsuccessful appeals, waivers, or hearings.
